The Frosty 5K serves as the kick off to the annual Northeast Harbor Christmas Festival, organized by the Mt. Desert Chamber of Commerce. Whether you are an avid runner, or simply want to get out for a walk and to enjoy the fresh air, EVERYONE is invited to take part. Strollers and four-legged friends are also invited to participate as part of this all in good fun event.
The morning will also include a short “Kids Fun Run” at approximately 9:15am which will run several hundred yards down Rock End Road, and back to The Neighborhood House where runners will be rewarded with a victory candy cane. There is no need to pre-register for the Fun Run and no charge— all kids are invited!
The first 50 participants to register for the 5K Run and Walk will receive a Frosty 5K winter scarf. Stylish, yet functional!
